Would you like to see something else on our site? Is there an item you've been unable to find? Let us help find it for you!
If you have further questions about Service Dogs (or Service Animals, like horses or monkeys), don't hesitate to drop us a note.
We know what it's like to need a Service Dog, how it feels to need one, to use one, or just to try and find the right one! We can put you in touch with people who have gone through the same thing as you. Don't go through it alone. Let us be there for you!
It takes more than love:
It costs over $10,000 to raise and train a Service Dog for 2 years, not including the additional time to train the dog with their Partner. Insurance generally doesn't pay for a Service Dog. Most people get the money for their Service Dogs through fund raisers. Through your requests, Puppies2Partners selects several individuals who need a little extra help and asks for your donations for these people. If you would like to make a donation (even $1.00 is a dollar more than they previously had!), please click on the appropriate link below. Make sure you identify which team (ex., enter "Female Team in Virginia Beach, VA" on your donation form) to make sure the donation goes to the correct team. You can send a one-time donation, or arrange monthly donations. PayPal can accept your donation using a credit card if you prefer.
Currently we've only had one request for assistance. Here is her story:
This woman suffers from non-epileptic seizures. She has no warning prior to a seizure, just wakes up somewhere, hopefully without having been seriously injured. About a month after she left work on disability, her husband lost his high-paying job due to illness. Because of paperwork foul-ups, they ended up going a total of 4 months with no income. She was eventually approved for SSDI (Social Security Disability Income), but her husband was unable to find a job in his field, and finally took a minimum wage job just to put food on the table. She was put in touch with The Jasmine Charitable Trust for a Seizure Alert dog, which completely changed their lives. However, their finances haven't improved very much and they've had a difficult time raising money to pay for her dog. Due to medical problems, they are limited in their fund raising activities. Please help this team with your contribution. Make your donation to "female team in Henrico, VA."

Send us your story about a Service Dog team that needs financial help. Please be patient; due to the number of requests, it may be a while before your sponsorship link is set up.
